I feel like I didn't get to take as many beautiful portraits of my newborn when she was still curled up and sleepy, because I was still recovering too. That's why I love making photographs of sweet little babes straight from heaven- it makes sure Mom and Dad get to cherish those precious, fleeting first days of baby snuggles, and I get to relive the magic of having a new teeny baby too. ;)
My friend and neighbor Andrea invited me into her home to document their newest addition- a baby girl, who is lucky to have 2 big brothers to watch over her (and poke her). Their family is darling and we made some of my favorite candid photographs to date. Welcome baby girl!
