I feel like I didn't get to take as many beautiful portraits of my newborn when she was still curled up and sleepy, because I was still recovering too. That's why I love making photographs of sweet little babes straight from heaven- it makes sure Mom and Dad get to cherish those precious, fleeting first days of baby snuggles, and I get to relive the magic of having a new teeny baby too. ;)

My friend and neighbor Andrea invited me into her home to document their newest addition- a baby girl, who is lucky to have 2 big brothers to watch over her (and poke her). Their family is darling and we made some of my favorite candid photographs to date. Welcome baby girl!

 

 

kent + jenny wedding

This sweet couple got married in April and I was so happy to photograph the event for them. Kent and Jenny searched a long time for each other and it was easy to see how happy they were to tie the knot! The beautiful Draper Temple and Thanksgiving Point gardens provided the perfect backdrops for their special day. I was also able to create a wedding album for them, which was a highlight. Here are a few of my favorite images!

Marnie and I used to live in the same apartment building before we both got married. We just recently reconnected and found out we both were graduating this semester- her  in graphic design, and me in photography. So naturally, we decided to strike a trade!

She did an amazing job designing my promotional poster for my thesis project (which is up this month!), and in return I got to shoot some casual/professional portraits for her to use on her social media profiles. We strolled up and down Provo Center Street for an eclectic and urban vibe.

Marnie was a great model and totally easy to work with, not to mention she's a great graphic designer and I highly recommend her!
